Charging
  • When charging conventional batteries, loosen vent caps and ventilate chargingarea.
  • If the battery feels hot to the touch during charging: STOPCHARGING.
  • Connectthe charger to the battery properly: the positive charger lead to the positivebattery post; the negative charger lead to the negative battery post.
  • Charging can give off hydrogen and oxygen that explodeif ignited. No smoking, sparks or flames are to be around batteries while charging.
  • A fully charged AGM battery's voltage should readabout 12.7 volts.
